Laughter Bus Tours

Laughter on the Laughter Bus

On our Laughter Bus, you will gain first-hand experience of the benefits of laughter and how it helps to change your life to have a more positive outlook. What makes the tour unique is that we combine the best of South African tourism with educational and experiential experiences.

Laughter makes you feel good. And the good feeling that you get when you laugh remains with you even after the laughter subsides. Science has proven that your body cannot tell the difference between pretend laughter and spontaneous laughter. So even if you pretend to laugh, your body experience the same physiological and psychological benefits as real laughter!

On the Laughter Bus, you will learn that anyone can laugh for no reason, without relying on humour, jokes or comedy. Laughter is simulated as a body exercise in a group it soon turns into real and contagious laughter. This concept comes from Laughter Yoga - a revolutionary idea that is now practised in more than 65 countries world-wide. (Read more on Laughter Yoga)

Community Laughter

Our goal is to start community Laughter Clubs in all the areas we visit with the Laughter Bus through awareness campaigns and laughter training.

During the Laughter Bus Tour, there will be an opportunity to share laughter with some of the people in the communities through organised laughter sessions. Although this is voluntary, it is guaranteed to be a pleasurable experience!

Laughter Clubs are fully independent, not-for-profit community-based associations of diverse people where all are welcome regardless of gender, age, physical abilities, social or economic backgrounds. They practice the Laughter Yoga method of laughing for no reason as a form of exercise. There are numerous laughter clubs all over the world.

The opportunity to become a certified Laughter Yoga Leader during the bus tour is possible - contact us in this regard.
